Job Description
Project Manager
Reports To: Director, Identity Integrity Services
Position Type: Full-time exempt (40 hour/week minimum)
Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the project management of JA projects. Success is measured by the creation and implementation of a project plan that ensures revenue goals attained, high client satisfaction, and project deadlines are met.
Job Functions
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- In conjunction with the Senior Identity Manager (SIM), develops and routinely updates project work plans including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding and staffing.
- Works with the SIM to develop and manage work breakdown structure of projects.
- Interacts with client representatives during project planning and execution to ensure the project deliverables meet client expectations.
- Ensures appropriate staff access is attained internally (e.g. IDM, LX) by client.
- Supports the development of project procedures and processes to be used during the project’s execution, in conjunction with project management.
- Effectively communicate project staffing needs in order for appropriate resources to be allocated to assigned projects.
- Monitors and tracks project milestones, deliverables, and resource consumption to ensure budgetary and timeline expectations are met.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Ensures routine reports regarding project work status are completed on schedule, issues are being identified and managed appropriately, and critical issues are communicated to the SIM and Director.
- Confers with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Facilitates thorough and effective communication among team members: JA leadership team, JA staff, the client team, and when appropriate, Argo and other vendor staff, ensuring all assigned JA team members as well as the client receive the appropriate information timely.
- Interacts appropriately with all levels of client personnel, demonstrating JA’s professional approach to client relationships.
- Completes other business tasks for JA as assigned.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- HIM industry knowledge
- Project management credential and/or equivalent expertise
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel
Experience
- Project management experience is preferred.
- lient management experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Works in a remote (home) office setting and at client sites. Must be able to travel routinely. Needs to tolerate lengthy working hours.
